✨「more」を使った比較級ってなに？

英語で「〜よりもっと○○」と言いたいときに使う表現です。

✅ “more” の使い方

短い単語は -er をつけて比較級を作りますが、
長い言葉（形容詞）は “more + 形容詞” を使います！

ふつうの形	意味	比較級（～よりもっと…）
interesting	おもしろい	more interesting
beautiful	美しい	more beautiful
difficult	難しい	more difficult
important	大切な	more important

英文	日本語訳
This book is more interesting than that book.	この本はあの本よりおもしろい。

次の日本語を英語にしましょう。

② 英語は日本語よりかんたんです。 (easyを使わず interesting を使いましょう!)
③ 彼女は私より有名です。 (famous=有名な)
④ 犬はネコより大切です。 (important=大切な)
⑤ 私のかばんはあなたのより大きいです。(bigは“more”を使わずbigの比較級で！)

① This game is more interesting than that game.
→ interesting は長い形容詞なので more を使います。

② English is more interesting than Japanese.
→ 「かんたん」はeasyと言えるけれど、問題の指定でinterestingを使用！

③ She is more famous than me.
→ famous も長い形容詞 → more famous

④ Dogs are more important than cats.
→ 一般論なので Dogs / cats を複数形にしています。

⑤ My bag is bigger than yours.
→ big は短い形容詞だから bigger と -er でOK！
